Chuck’s Anime Shrine first went online in 2002 — hand-written HTML, Flash intros, a figure shop, forums, and the Anime.FM podcast. It grew page by page through the golden age of the personal web.
Today the shrine is reborn on a modern stack. And here’s the important part: nothing was bulldozed.
The Original Site
Every page of the original site — all ~3,200 of them, plus every image, MP3, and Flash file from 2002 to 2014 — is preserved exactly as it was, and you can browse it right now at /old_site/. Flash even plays, thanks to the Ruffle emulator. Think of it as a time capsule of the old internet, with the original 2014 figure shop frozen mid-sale.
